Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who has returned to the director's chair for the upcoming Malayalam film Bro Daddy, on Wednesday took to Twitter to unveil the first look of Kalyani Priyadarshan’s character, Anna, from the movie.

The character, who is clad in a pink salwar kameez, appears to be a regular young woman.

The film will be released this year on Disney+ Hotstar.

Last July, Prithviraj announced the project on Twitter. This is his second collaboration with Mohanlal as a director. The duo had worked together in the Malayalam action-drama Lucifer (2019).

Prithviraj had tweeted, “My 2nd directorial. BRO DADDY will once again be headlined by The Lalettan, Mohanlal, with an ensemble cast including yours truly. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor (Aashirvad Cinemas), a fun family drama that makes you smile, laugh & want to revisit. Rolling soon. Very soon (sic).”

Subsequently, the actor took to Instagram to share a picture from the sets of the movie.

Another picture from the shoot was shared by Prithviraj Productions on Instagram.

Bro Daddy features Meena, Lalu Alex, Murali Gopy, Kaniha and Soubin Shahir.

It was recently revealed that Prithviraj will star in an epic project that will see the usage of a virtual production filmmaking technique, the kind employed by Avatar (2009) and The Lion King (2019).
