After being in the Rs90 crore range for a while, the Hindi version of the Telugu movie Pushpa: The Rise (2022) has finally reached the three-figure mark.

The total collection of the Hindi dubbed version of the Allu Arjun-starrer has reached Rs100.30 crore nett, according to the trade website BoxOfficeIndia.com.

The film, directed by Sukumar, did very well on its seventh weekend in theatres, which is rare. It made Rs2.55 crore nett in this period. In fact, according to the trade website, the dubbed version is doing better business than the Telugu original in Hyderabad.

With all upcoming big-ticket Hindi movies having been postponed because of the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pushpa is having a dream run and it seems it will continue for a while longer until it finds competition, especially on Sundays and public holidays.

Before the seventh weekend, Pushpa’s Hindi version also recorded the second best collection for any film in India in the sixth week with Rs6.15 crore nett. The first position in the list is held by the Vicky Kaushal-starrer action film Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) with Rs11.59 crore.

But what makes Pushpa’s achievement greater is that the film is continuing to do well in cinemas even after being released on Amazon Prime Video in all languages more than two weeks ago.
