Kajol Devgn is the latest figure from the Hindi film industry to test positive for COVID-19 during the third wave of the pandemic.
The actress shared a photo of her daughter, Nysa Devgn, on Sunday, which was captioned, "Tested positive and I really don't want anyone to see my Rudolph nose so let's just stick to the sweetest smile in the world!"
The actress's last project was Renuka Shahane's Netflix drama Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy (2021), which also starred Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar.
Kajol has signed on for Revathy's The Last Hurrah. The film marks the latter's return to the directorial chair after 12 years, and also the first collaboration between the two artistes.
Describing the decision to take up Revathy's project, Kajol said, "When I heard the story of The Last Hurrah, I could instantly connect with Sujata and I thought her journey was incredibly inspiring. It's a beautiful journey and it deserves to be shared with everyone. And to have Revathy direct me for this story gives me more strength to play Sujata and showcase her strengths.”
The film will be produced by Suuraj Sinngh and Shraddha Agrawal under the banners Blive Productions and Take 23 Studios Production.
