Kannada actor Duniya Vijay to make Telugu debut in Balakrishna’s next film

Kannada star Duniya Vijay will play the antagonist in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next Telugu project, tentatively titled NBK 107. The makers made the announcement on Monday. 

Director Gopichand Malineni took to Twitter to welcome Vijay on board. He also wrote that the artiste would redefine villainy.

“Very happy to welcome the Sandalwood sensation Duniya Vijay on board to NBK 107. Redefines the villainism with NBK 107 (sic),” Gopichand tweeted.

NBK 107 marks Gopichand and Balakrishna's first collaboration. The project also stars Shruti Haasan, who has appeared in the Gopichand films Balupu (2016) and Krack (2021). 

The project is expected to go on the floors soon. It will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, and SS Thaman has been roped in to compose its music. 

Balakrishna was recently seen in the Telugu action film Akhanda (2021), which grossed over Rs100 crore and emerged as the highest grosser in Balakrishna’s career.
