The trailer for the Ankush Chaudhari-, Siddharth Jadhav- and Vaidehi Parshurami-starrer Lochya Zaala Re made it amply clear that the film is a slapstick comedy. Generally comedy films don't have much scope for great music, but the makers of Lochya Zaala Re have released the first track titled 'Merry Go Round'.

Composed by Chinar Mahesh, this is an upbeat little number that gets you in the groove whilst portraying the fun-n-frolic of friendship! The active use of the violin grabs your attention from the word go, which is joined by various other instruments like the bongo drums.

But by far the most impressive aspect of the song is Apeksha Dandekar's performance. Her voice elevates this fairly average composition. Harshwardhan Wavare tries to support her, but his voice lacks the peppiness required for such numbers.

The lyrics by Mandar Cholkar are passable, but the track itself is enjoyable without being special.

On a visual level, the song is pretty generic as we see our three protagonists just roaming around in London. But it at least clears the confusion about whom exactly Vaidehi Parshurami's character is in a relationship with.

Helmed by Paritosh Painter and Ravi Adhikari, Lochya Zaala Re is set for release in theatres on 4 February. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
