Luckdown, starring Ankush Chaudhari and Prajakta Mali, will now be released on 25 February. The film, helmed by Santosh Manjrekar, was originally slated to arrive in theatres on 28 January.
Mali shared the news on Instagram with an old poster with a slight change. In the earlier poster, all the cast members were seen wearing face masks; in the new one we see them without masks.
Sharing the poster, the actress wrote, "Corona or not, our movie is going to be a super duper hit. We were not concerned about it at all, but we were concerned about your health. And so for the safety of our audience, we came to a decision to postpone the film. But now the corona market is down, so Luckdown is coming on 25 February."
This means the film will clash with the Sameer Dharmadhikari- and Smita Shewale-starrer Chabuk, which is also set for release on 25 February.
Written by Ravindra Mathathikari and directed by Santosh Ramdas Manjrekar, Luckdown also features Shubha Khote, Priya Arun, Ruchira Jadhav, Sanjay Mone, Sanjay Khapre and Omkar Raut.
Mali is also part of Digpal Lanjekar's historical action drama Pawankhind, which is scheduled to be released on the previous weekend.
