143 teaser: Another love story of poor boy and rich girl

Actor-director Yogesh Bhosale has opted for a run-of-the-mill love story for his feature film debut. The teaser for 143 gives a clear idea what to expect. It is another love story of a poor boy and rich girl. Whether this love story has a happy ending or opts for the tragic denouement is what remains to be seen.

Vishu (Bhosale), the son of a poor farmer (Shashank Shende), and Madhu (Sheetal Ahirrao), daughter of a rich and influencial politician (Suresh Vishwakarma), are madly in love with each other.

When Madhu's father finds out, he decides to end the relationship the only way he knows: by killing the young man his daughter is in love with. For this he hires the ruthless killer Ananta (Vrushabh Shah). Will Ananta succeed in killing Vishu or will the couple somehow find a way to elope from all this violence?

The one-minute-five-second teaser makes it pretty obvious that 143 is going to be one more addition to the long list of love stories set in small towns and villages. Even the performances look theatrical, especially Shah's over-the-top villain. Also, how many times are we going to see Vishwakarma play the same role of a rich and ruthless father? The lead pair, however, looks promising, especially Bhosale.
