Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan share first look from Laxman Utekar's untitled romantic drama

The shooting schedule of the film, which has been produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, has just been completed.

Actor Vicky Kaushal shared the first look of his upcoming film with Sara Ali Khan to commemorate the completion of the film's shooting schedule.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film has been produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. 

The first look poster sees Kaushal and Sara looking into each other's eyes in what appears to be a homely kitchen. 

Kaushal wrote, "Naam mein kya rakha hai, abhi toh wrap hua hai!!!", referring to the as-yet-untitled project, and added, "Each day of filming this beautiful story has been memorable for me. Going to miss you guys terribly and all the madness involved. Also, a very big thank you to the wonderful people of Indore who have been so cooperative and full of love. Thank You!...Baat yeh dil ki hai, jo ghar ghar tak pohonchegi… ya shayad baat ghar ki hai jo har dil ko chuyegi (sic)." 

Sara, who also shared the still, revealed that the name of her character is Somya.

The artiste said, "Can’t believe it’s already over! Thank you Laxman Utekar sir for giving me Somya. Thank you for all the guidance, patience, and support. Thank you for always being so understanding and always pushing me to do better and better."

The Atrangi Re (2021) actress also thanked her co-star, saying, "Every day with you on the set has been a blast. From enjoying Punjabi songs and bonfires to early morning drives and copious cups of chai. Thank you for making this journey so memorable for me. You’re one of the most humble, talented and gifted actors I’ve met, and I’m so privileged that I got to share screen space with you and learn so much from you." 

The film has been shot mainly in Indore and is set in the city. It also marks Utekar's third collaboration with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films after Luka Chuppi (2019) and Mimi (2021). The filmmaker also has an upcoming production, Ittu Si Baat (2022) in the pipeline.
