Madhuri Dixit Nene’s maiden web-series The Fame Game to be released on Netflix on 25 February

The show also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Lakshvir Saran, Suhasini Mulay, Muskkaan Jaferi and Gagan Arora.

Madhuri Dixit Nene’s maiden web-series, The Fame Game, finally has a release date. The Netflix show, which was earlier titled Finding Anamika, will be streamed from 25 February.

A statement from the makers read, “Bollywood icon Anamika Anand [Dixit Nene] has it all but is her life perfect or a perfectly crafted facade? In a world of glitz, glamour and fame, the lines of what is real and what is not can often be blurred. The Fame Game will take us into the world of superstar Anamika played by the evergreen, ever-gorgeous Madhuri Dixit Nene!”

The intriguing poster of the series prominently features the actress in the foreground, gazing directly and the viewer and dwarfing old portraits of herself and the rest of the cast.

The show also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Lakshvir Saran, Suhasini Mulay, Muskkaan Jaferi and Gagan Arora. Dixit Nene and Kapoor, who starred in Raja (1995), will be alongside each other for the first time in more than 25 years.

Arora was recently seen in the acclaimed web-series Tabbar in which his performance was greatly appreciated.

The Fame Game has been backed by Karan Johar’s digital banner Dharmatic Entertainment and helmed by Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli.
