The tune, which features the vocals of Manish Rajgire, Thomson Andrews, Pravin Kuwar, Vivek Naik and Santosh Bote, is both traditional and hip.

Aditya Sarpotdar's Zombivli proved that music in a zombie film need not be spooky and eerie with the foot-tapping 'Angaat Aalaya'. The makers have now dropped the equally fun and entertaining number 'Vinchu Chaavla'.

The film, which stars Amey Wagh, Vaidehi Parshurami and Lalit Prabhakar, is set to be released in theatres on 26 January.

The song is a modern-day take on a folk song by the 16th-century saint and poet Eknath. While the original version was spiritually themed, Vaibhav Deshmukh's additional lyrics give the song's 'bite' a zombie twist.

AV Prafullachandra's composition is both traditional and hip. The staccato beats and catchy lyrics stand out. The song retains the hook of 'Vinchu Chaavla'. Then again, why change something that has worked through the ages.

Prafullachandra leads a panoply of singers such as Manish Rajgire, Thomson Andrews, Pravin Kuwar, Vivek Naik and Santosh Bote. Each vocalist does their job, but this is not a song to listen to for the melody or vocals. It is all about the feel and beat that gives it punch.

Zombivli has been produced by Yoodlee Films.

Check out the song and let us know if you are keen on watching the film.
