Devmanus actress Madhuri Pawar joins cast of Dishabhool

Actress Madhuri Pawar will play a major character in the upcoming movie Dishabhool. The artiste, who is known for her work in the Marathi television shows Devmanus and Tuzhat Jeev Rangala, was recently seen in the song ‘Majha Baburao Jhala Tight’ from Ek Number. 

Speaking about her character, Pawar said in a statement, “Dishabhool is a very different type of cinema. The character I am playing is different from what I have played till now. I am enjoying shooting for the film with a new team.” 

Dishabhool stars Amruta Dhongade and Tejas Barve, the hit pair from the television show Mrs Mukhyamantri. Directed by Ashish Kailas Jain and produced by Aarti Chavan, the mahurat of the film recently took place in Pune. 

Throwing light on the film’s subject, Ashish Kailas Jain said, “Dishabhool is a film for today’s youth. It’s a unique story that takes place between college students and it has a triple mixture of friendship, romance and suspense.” 

The film features Shashank Shende, Pranav Ravrane, Arun Kadam, Siddheshwar Zadbuke, Ashutosh Wadekar, Shubham Mandhare and Priya Berde. 

Chavan said, “This is the first film for Saanvi Production House. Along with giving opportunities to young actors, we have also signed on experienced actors. I have faith that the audience will appreciate our unique experiment.”
