Title track of Unpaused: Naya Safar is themed on gratitude and new beginnings: Composer duo Sachin-Jigar

For the upcoming Amazon Prime Video anthology Unpaused: Naya Safar (2022), music composer duo Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya aka Sachin-Jigar have created a title track that borrows from the theme of the film and highlights its message of hope and positivity.  

Singer Amit Mishra has lent his vocals to the special track, which also features a rap by Shaikhspeare. The lyrics of the song have been written by Kausar Munir.

The composers are eager for listeners to enjoy the song. In a statement, they said, “The song Naya Safar revolves around the theme of gratitude and new beginnings. There are times in our lives when we feel everything is lost, there is nowhere to go and so on. But we must remember our inner strength and tenacity together is the driving force that makes us face all the hurdles and move ahead as a winner.”

“Naya Safar is a song that acts as a motivation and fills the hearts of the listeners with rejuvenated hope and positivity to not let anything bog them down,” they added. “Kausar Munir’s lyrics beautifully express the spirit and essence, while Amit Mishra has done complete justice with his vocals. Shaikhspeare’s rap too has added another element to the song.”

The anthology comprises stories directed by Shikha Makan (Gond Ke Laddu), Ruchir Arun (Teen Tigada), Nupur Asthana (The Couple), Ayappa KM (War Room) and Nagraj Manjule (Vaikunth). It features an ensemble cast that includes Shreya Dhanwanthary, Priyanshu Painyuli, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Saqib Saleem, Ashish Verma, Sam Mohan, Darshana Rajendran, Lakshvir Singh Saran, Neena Kulkarni and Nagraj Manjule.

Unpaused: Naya Safar will be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 21 January.
