The Hindi version of Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rise was released on Amazon Prime Video on 14 January. But this apparently has had no effect on the box office performance of the film in this language.
The Allu Arjun-starrer has fared well commercially, earning Rs1.30 crore, Rs1.40 crore and Rs1.90 crore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively, taking its fifth-week total so far to Rs4.60 crore, as per figures shared by the trade website BoxOfficeIndia.com.
According to the portal, the film earned the maximum revenue in the past three days in Gujarat because of the long weekend due to the Makar Sankranti holiday.
The Hindi version of Pushpa’s grand total now stands at an impressive Rs88.90 crore. There is speculation that it could reach the Rs100 crore mark, as no major Hindi films are slated to be released in the next few weeks.
Also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, Pushpa is an action drama that revolves around red sanders smuggling in Andhra Pradesh.
