Rajniesh Duggal and Bidita Bag have wrapped up the shoot for their upcoming film, Bal Naren.

Produced by Deepak Mukut, the film is inspired by the Narendra Modi government's programme for cleanliness, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The film is directed by Pawan KK Nagpal and also features Govind Namdev and Vindu Dara Singh in key roles.

Producer Mukut said, "Though there were challenges because of the pandemic, the team has completed the film on schedule. They have followed all protocols and thankfully everyone is safe.”

The plot tracks the journey of a boy, Naren, who loses his father to dengue. Yet, the government's programme of cleaning up India inspires the child to make a positive change through cleanliness.

The film will also touch upon the current issue of the COVID-19 pandemic and the havoc it has wreaked upon the country.

The film was announced in December 2021 and shot on a continuous month-long schedule in Uttar Pradesh.

Bal Naren is Mukut's fourth production after Mulk (2018), Dhaakad (2022) and Forensic (2022). Of these, only Mulk has had a theatrical release.
