The Hindi version of Pushpa: The Rise collected Rs11.25 crore in its fourth week — a rare feat for a South Indian film — as per figures shared by the trade website BoxOfficeIndia.com.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa now occupies second place on the list of highest fourth-week earners since 2020. The first is the Ajay Devgn-starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020), which made Rs19.31 crore in its fourth week. However, that historical epic had been released in the pre-pandemic period of January 2020.
Since the pandemic began, the highest fourth-week figure — Rs6.48 crore — was registered by Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi (2021).
The grand total of the Hindi version of Pushpa stands at an impressive Rs84.14 crore. There was some buzz about the film’s chances of reaching the magic figure of Rs100 crore. But, as per BoxOfficeIndia.com, the film’s total collections should be around Rs90 crore.
One reason for this is that the film’s Hindi version is being streamed on Amazon Prime Video. The Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions were released on the platform earlier this month.
