Actress-producer Nehha Pendse has tested positive for COVID-19. On Tuesday, Pendse took to Instagram and revealed that she had contracted the coronavirus.
The actress, who is currently in home quarantine, shared a note on Instagram Story to inform fans about her health.
"After dodging the virus for two years, I, unfortunately, have caught it," she wrote. "Results are positive. I am in home quarantine, have not stepped out or met anyone past few days. Being introverted can be helpful sometimes."
The Marathi actress, who turned producer last year with the critically acclaimed June (2021), is best known for her role in the sitcom Bhabi Ji Ghar Pe Hai.
Apart from Pendse, designer Sussanne Khan, ex-wife of actor Hrithik Roshan, also tested positive for the Omicron variant of the coronavirus. She shared her diagnosis on her Instagram account along with a picture in which she is flexing her biceps in front of a mirror.
Comedian-actor Vir Das shared recently that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and has mild symptoms.
Vir Das joins the ever-increasing list of names from film industries across the country testing positive for the contagion such as Janhvi Kapoor, Mithila Palkar, Mahesh Babu and Trisha Krishnan.
