Coronavirus update: Janhvi Kapoor recovers from COVID-19 after a week of isolation at home

Actress Janhvi Kapoor on Tuesday revealed that she has recovered from COVID-19 after a week of isolation at home.
The actress took to Instagram to inform her fans that she and her sister Khushi Kapoor had tested positive for the virus on 3 January and have recovered after completing the seven-day compulsory period of home isolation.
In an Instagram Story, Janhvi wrote, "Hey guys! So me and my sister tested positive for COVID-19 on 3rd January. We have now completed the BMC required home isolation and have both tested negative. First two days were tough and every other day got better. The only way to protect ourselves from this virus is to mask up and vaccinate! Take care everyone!! (sic)"
Last Sunday, Janhvi posted a cryptic image of herself with a thermometer in her mouth while in another she was seen snuggling with Khushi as they were lying in bed. she had captioned it, "That time of year again."
Janhvi was last seen in Hardik Mehta's horror-comedy Roohi (2021) where she was seen sharing the screen with Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. The actress recently completed shooting for the survival thriller Milli, directed by Mathukutty Xavier. The film is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Helen. Janhvi will also star alongside actor Rajkummar Rao in Mr and Mrs Mahi, co-written and directed by Sharan Sharma.
Meanwhile, several Indian celebrities have tested positive for COVID-19, including Trisha Krishnan, Mithila Palkar, Sathyaraj, Nafisa Ali, Riddhi Sen and Bengali singer Iman Chakraborty.
Today, Marathi actor Jitendra Joshi also revealed that he has contracted the coronavirus. The actor revealed that he is in a lot of pain and suffering from fever, body pain and headaches.
