36 Farmhouse teaser: Vijay Raaz tries to make sense of the mystery around him

More than a decade and a half ago, Subhash Ghai produced the thriller 36 China Town (2006), starring Akshaye Khanna, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor and helmed by Abbas-Mustan. He has now come up with 36 Farmhouse, but the film is no sequel to the 2006 movie.

The teaser for the Zee5 movie, which is just out, keeps things ambiguous. We are told through a new channel that well-known lawyer Pratik Kakkar has been missing for 21 days and that police have found some evidence of a crime against him. However, his brother Prahlad Kakkar claims that Pratik isn’t missing; he has been murdered.

Although the teaser revolves around the character of Pratik Kakkar, we aren’t shown his face. Same with his brother Prahlad. The teaser has scenes of a police team searching a palatial bungalow for some evidence.

The actor who grabs the limelight is Vijay Raaz. He is present at the bungalow and seen trying to make sense of the mystery. But we don’t know what exactly is the character he is playing. Same is the case with Sanjay Mishra, Barkha Singh, Flora Saini and Amol Parashar.

Subhash Ghai has turned music composer and lyricist with this movie. Produced by Ghai’s Mukta Arts, 36 Farmhouse is directed by Ram Ramesh Sharma.
