Marathi film Lochya Zaala Re to be released overseas this week

Director duo Paritosh Painter and Ravi Adhikari’s Marathi movie Lochya Zaala Re (2022) was released in theatres last week. Starring Ankush Chaudhari, Siddharth Jadhav, Vaidehi Parshurami and Sayaji Shinde with Vijay Patkar in a cameo, the film is adapted from Suresh Jayram’s Marathi play Pati Sagle Uchapati.

Lochya Zaala Re is now all set to be released overseas this week in more than 30 theatres, in countries like the USA and the UAE, the makers said in a statement.

Reacting to the film’s overseas release, Painter said, “After our golden run in Maharashtra, we are set for an overseas release and we are extremely happy about it.”

Naveen Chandra of Mumbai Movie Studios added, “The film has succeeded in entertaining many. And that’s the reason there is a demand for it to be released outside India as well. Bowing to popular demand, we are releasing the film overseas and hope the audience there showers us with the same love and praise that the audience in India has.”

Presented by Mumbai Movie Studios, Lochya Zaala Re was produced by Ideas The Entertainment Company and Abhinay Mumbai Production and distributed domestically by UFO Moviez.
