Ajay Gogavale, one half of the most popular Marathi music composer duo Ajay-Atul, has provided vocals for a romantic number that will be heard in Ramesh Chaudhary's upcoming Marathi film Gulhar.
The song has been composed by Padmanabh Gaikwad and lyrics are by Vaibhav Kulkarni.
Speaking about the song, Gogavale said, "This song is very special to me as I experienced a different kind of joy and spiritual satisfaction while recording the song. The audience will definitely experience it while listening to the number."
Gulhar, which revolves around an 11-year-old boy, stars child actor Vinayak Potdar, who was last seen in Samit Kakkad's Half Ticket (2016).
The film's story has been written by Mohan Padwal while the screenplay and dialogues are by Sanjay Navgire, who wrote the critically acclaimed film Redu (2018).
The film features Ravi Kale, Bhargavi Chirmule, Suresh Vishwakarma, Madhav Abhyankar, Kishore Chougule, Rukmini Sutar, Shivani Baokar, Shivaji Bhintade, Anup Shinde and Manjiri Yashwant.
Gulhar has been produced under the banner of Ideal Venture and RK Films, which was launched by Shantaram Medge, Shivaji Bhintade, Anup Shinde and Abid Syed.
The film will be released in theatres soon.
