In the upcoming Malayalam thriller Pathaam Valavu (2022), directed by M Padmakumar, Indrajith Sukumaran plays a police officer who is on the trail of a mysterious criminal.
Said to be based on some true incidents, the film's dark teaser instantly grabs attention with some intriguing visuals. It appears that when the police led by Indrajith's character are out to nab the criminal they get stuck in a long traffic snarl because of heavy rainfall or a landslide.
The teaser is dark and cut sharply to keep the viewer guessing about the plot and who is after whom. It also creates a sense of mystery around Suraj Venjaramoodu's character. But we can be certain the film's plot revolves around him.
Although it is too early to guess what Venjaramoodu's character's motive is, he looks like someone who is going through some emotional trauma.
Scripted by Abhilash Pillai, the film also features Aditi Ravi, Swasika, Ajmal Ameer, Aneesh G Menon, Sudheer Karamana, Sohan Seenu Lal and Major Ravi in pivotal roles.
