Ravi Teja’s upcoming Telugu action film Khiladi is set to arrive in cinemas on 11 February. Now, the makers have decided to release a Hindi-dubbed version in North India.
The development comes in the wake of the stupendous success of the Hindi version of Sukumar’s Telugu film Pushpa: The Rise, which stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. This iteration of the Telugu film, which is still in running in theatres across India, has recently reached the Rs100 crore mark.
Directed by Ramesh Varma, Khiladi also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayathi.
The Hindi version will be distributed by Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios. Explaining the reason for releasing the film in Hindi, Gada said in a statement, “As the times have changed, now there is a demand for original content as the audience likes to see the film in its purest form. The content of Khiladi is extremely entertaining combined with Ravi Teja’s popularity across India, Pen Studios felt that his movie should also be released in the Hindi language too, in cinemas (sic).”
Ravi Teja shared the first look of Khiladi recently on his 54th birthday on 26 January.
