Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has finished shooting for his upcoming film Tiku Weds Sheru, which has been directed by Sai Kabir.
The actor took to his Instagram on Thursday to announce the development with a photo, featuring his director, co-star Avneet Kaur, producer Kangana Ranaut and himself.
The quirky romance features Siddiqui as Shirza Khan Afghani aka Sheru and Avneet as Tasleem Khan aka Tiku.
The post read, “The beautiful process of filming Tiku weds Sheru is completed today. Team Tiku Weds Sheru's energy and dedication was unmatchable in all the departments (sic).”
Siddiqui started shooting for the film, which is being backed by Ranaut’s production house Manikarnika Films, in November last year.
The post further read, “Kangana Ranaut had been a very supportive creative and endearing producer. Avneet is a gifted actor and a stunning dancer. Director Sai Kabir your creativity is superlative and DOP Don Fernando you are a magician behind lens. All my co-actors, you guys have inspired me and pushed me to give my best in this film. this joyride comes to an end. It’s a WRAP (sic).”
When the project was on the floors, the makers shared a black and white still from the film in which the lead actors appeared to be recreating a scene from the song 'Pyar Hua Ikrar Hua' from Sree 420 (1955).
Tiku Weds Sheru will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
