Priyanka Chopra Jonas will star alongside Anthony Mackie, who is renowned for his portrayal of Sam 'The Falcon' Wilson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) franchise, in the action drama Ending Things.
The film is being produced by Davis Entertainment and Lit Entertainment, along with Inspire Entertainment and Mackie's production house Make It With Gravy Productions.
According to Deadline.com, the film will tell the story of a hitwoman who wants out of the assassin business and tells her partner that she's ending their personal relationship as well. Things get complicated when she comes to realize she doesn't want to end that part of their bond.
Mackie, who made his debut in the semi-autobiographical drama 8 Mile (2002), appeared in several acclaimed films such as Brother to Brother (2004), Half Nelson (2006) and The Hurt Locker (2008). He recently starred in The Banker (2020) and the series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier (2021). The actor, who played the Falcon in six films in the MCU, will be seen in the role of Captain America in the next film in the franchise.
Chopra Jonas was last seen in the latest instalment of the Matrix series, The Matrix Resurrections (2021). The actress has also completed her schedule for the romantic comedy Text For You and will also feature in the Russo Brothers' series The Citadel.
The actress recently revealed that she and her husband, Nick Jonas, have become parents via surrogacy.
