Sayan Ghosh, Indrani Saha, Rajesh Sharma to star in Suvendu Das's film Save The Mothers

Director Suvendu Das's upcoming film, Save The Mothers, stars Sayan Ghosh, Indrani Saha, Kharaj Mukherjee and Rajesh Sharma.

Based on the struggle of a mother who crosses all limits to save her girl child, the film features Parthasarathi Chakraborty, Sneha Biswas, Sukharanjan Banerjee and Manash Deb.

According to a press release, the film revolves around a young woman named Puja, who falls in love with Rahul. Puja’s family doesn’t accept the relationship and hence, she elopes with Rahul. Puja is welcomed warmly by Rahul’s family and is treated with love until she gets pregnant and it is learnt that she is going to give birth to a baby girl.

Puja feels threatened as her in law’s demand a male child and hence, in order to protect her unborn baby, she escapes from her in-law’s and puts up a fight to raise her daughter as a single mother.

According to the director, the characters are inspired by his experiences.
