The second edition of the annual Screenwriters Association (SWA) Awards saw some familiar winners in Hansal Mehta's Scam 1992 (2020) and Prateek Vats's Eeb Allay Ooo! (2020). The Arshad Warsi-Amey Wagh thriller series Asur (2020) also walked away with a major prize at the felicitation ceremony.
The winners were announced on the evening of 27 February 2022.

The Voot thriller Asur won the Web Series - Best Original Drama. The series beat out the other favourite Scam 1992 (2020). The Pratik Gandhi-led show won the award for Web Series - Best Adaptation.
The Amazon series Panchayat (2020) walked away with Web Series - Best Original Comedy.
Lyricist Irshad Kamil won the award for Best Lyrics for 'Shayad' from Love Aaj Kal (2020).
