Exclusive: Undekhi actor Surya Sharma to star in Red Chillies Entertainment’s Bhakshak

Actor Surya Sharma is known for playing negative roles in shows such as Hostages, Undekhi and Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein. But he is glad that has finally got a chance to play one of the good guys in Bhakshak, an upcoming film from Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, which stars Bhumi Pednekar. 

Sharma has just finished shooting for the film, which has been directed by Pulkit. “There are chances that you might not recognize me in it because the character is such. The director has a role to play in it. He has done very well, going by my experience,” the actor told Cinestaan.com while promoting the second season of Undekhi. 

Sharma also experienced Shah Rukh Khan’s presence and goodness while working with his production house. “Working with Red Chillies is like a dream. Khan sahab’s company has a nature like him. They are very caring, just like Khan sahab. Everyone in the company has the same nature. It is all because of the leader,” he said.

Sharma will be seen reprising his evil character Rinku in the upcoming season of Undekhi. Directed by Ashish R Shukla, it is set to be streamed on SonyLIV from 4 March.
