Backed by Radio City and the newspaper Mid-Day, public voting for the awards has already begun and will end on 18 March.

The web-series Tabbar, The Family Man (Season 2), Aarya (Season 2) and the feature film The White Tiger have been nominated for the Hitlist OTT Awards.

The second season of the Amazon Prime Video show The Family Man has received seven nominations — Best Season, Best Actor (Male): Series, Best Actor (Female): Series, Best Supporting Actor (Male): Series, Best Supporting Actress (Female), Best Ensemble Cat and Best Showrunner/Creator.

The critically acclaimed SonyLIV series Tabbar earned five nominations, including Best Show, Best Actor (Male): Series and Best Supporting Actress (Female).

The awards were first launched in 2020; public voting began on 18 February and will end on 18 March. Film critic and Mid-Day entertainment editor Mayank Shekhar is part of the in-house jury, which includes Radio City RJ Salil Acharya. Other known online critics will also be part of the process as judges.

The public can cast their vote here or on Mid-Day’s social media channels. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 29 March in Mumbai.

Speaking about the nominations, Ashit Kukian, chief executive officer at Radio City, said, “It gives us great joy to witness the ongoing enthusiasm for the third season of the Hitlist OTT Awards. The last two award seasons were successful in truly transforming the OTT awards landscape. These awards have gained popularity among audiences pan India and have consequently raised the bar for OTT players to produce quality content that resonates with the viewers’ expectations.”

“As the OTT market is predicted to grow at 22 to 25% CAGR [compound annual growth rate], recognitions such as the Hitlist OTT Awards will continue to build a legacy that celebrates the diligence of creators and artists to bring quality entertainment to the audiences. We are excited to witness the battle unfold to crown these creative and talented performances in the OTT space,” he added.
