Vikram to team up with Mahesh Babu for Trivikram’s next project?

If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, Tamil star Vikram is set to make a foray into Telugu cinema with Mahesh Babu’s next project with director Trivikram. However, the makers are yet to make an announcement in this regard.

Reports indicate that Vikram has been approached for a key role in the movie and he’s believed to have given his nod. However, he’s yet to sign on the dotted line.

Mahesh Babu is reuniting with Trivikram after a decade. The film had its launch ceremony recently, and it’s expected to go on the floors soon. Pooja Hegde has been signed as the leading lady.

The rest of the cast and crew will be finalized and announced soon. 

Vikram was recently seen in Tamil film Mahaan, which had its premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film saw Vikram play an unscrupulous teacher-turned-bootlegger. It also featured Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram as an encounter specialist.  

Mahesh Babu currently awaits the release of upcoming Telugu film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Directed by Parasuram, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh. The makers recently confirmed that the film would be released on 13 January 2022. 

Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which was predominantly shot in Dubai, features music by SS Thaman.
