Gurnam Bhullar and Sonam Bajwa’s Punjabi-language film Main Viyah Nahi Karona Tere Naal has been written and directed by Rupinder Inderjit. The film is slated to release in theatres on 4 March 2022 and the trailer has been released on YouTube.

Bhullar plays Puran, an urban pendu [bumpkin] and Bajwa plays Mannat, described as being a desi babe. The two of them come together and decide to have an affair in what seems to be some sort of an arrangement between the two. Although they seem to be attracted to each other, Puran and Mannat shun each other.

In another track, Puran’s family seems very keen to get him married at the earliest. Despite this, he refuses to get married to Mannat, saying that she is not his type. They bicker and fight and the end of the trailer sees the two of them running away from her wedding, with her still refusing to marry him!

The trailer features multiple wedding settings and the couple is often seen in coordinated clothes and colours. With good production values and a lot of emphasis on getting a particular look right for the film, Bhullar and Bajwa take centre stage as lovers who cannot make up their minds about how they feel about each other. The title track is catchy and the music by Laddi Gill, Daoud Music, and Daddy Beats seems appealing.
