John Abraham to star in producer Dinesh Vijan's action thriller Tehran

John Abraham is set to collaborate with Dinesh Vijan's banner Maddock Films for an action thriller titled Tehran, which is based on true events.

Directed by first-time filmmaker Arun Gopalan and written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma, the film is set to be released on Republic Day 2023.

John made the big announcement on social media via a poster.

The film marks John and Vijan's first collaboration. Apart from this, the actor is looking forward to the release of the sci-fi action thriller Attack: Part 1, which is slated to be released on 1 April this year, and Mohit Suri's Ek Villain Returns where he will be seen sharing screen space with Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. The film will be out on 8 July. John is also part of the spy thriller Pathan (2022), starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
