Bheemla Nayak trailer: Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati lock horns in struggle for dominance

The trailer of the Telugu film Bheemla Nayak (2022), starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati, pits the lead characters in a battle for power.

The film is the official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum (2020), which revolves around the titular Ayyappan Nair (Biju Menon) and Koshy Kurian (Prithviraj), who lock horns over an incident and their egos take them down a wild path. The former character is a policeman with an unblemished record while the latter is a retired army havaldar, who had served for 16 years.

Pawan Kalyan will be seen as the titular character, which is based on Ayyappan Nair, while Rana Daggubati plays his nemesis, Daniel Shekar.

The explosive trailer, which describes the clash as the ultimate battle between duty and power and a fight between pride and self-esteem, sees the headstrong rivals butting heads and trying to get the better of each other, finally coming to blows in physical combat as a crowd of shocked locals look on.

Bheemla Nayak, which hits the screens worldwide on 25 February, has been directed by Sagar K Chandra. It features Nithya Menen, Murli Sharma and Samyuktha Menon in key roles. SS Thaman has composed the music.
