Filmmaker Luv Ranjan ties the knot with girlfriend Alisha Vaid

Filmmaker Luv Ranjan married his long-time girlfriend Alisha Vaid in a grand ceremony at a hotel in Agra on Sunday. The wedding festivities kicked off two days prior to the couple's big day.

Several figures from the Hindi film industry such as Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Arjun Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, Dinesh Vijan, Pritam and Sunny Singh attended the ceremony and the reception.

Ranjan and Vaid wore outfits by Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi while most of the guests were seen in white or light-coloured garments. 

According to reports, the couple has known each other since their college days.

Renowned for directing the Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise, Ranjan has also helmed the films Akaash Vani (2013) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). As a producer, he has backed films such as De De Pyaar De (2019), Malang (2020) and Chhalaang (2020).

His next directorial venture is a keenly awaited feature starring Ranbir and Shraddha. 

Meanwhile, Rakul took the opportunity to visit the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.
