Babu teaser: Ankit Mohan exudes confidence and swag in this action-packed entertainer

The teaser of Ankit Mohan's much-awaited action-entertainer Babu promises an action-packed entertainer where the actor seems to be playing an up-and-coming young gangster. 

Almost halfway through the clip, Ankit makes his heroic entry with a whistle-worthy line in the Agri dialect. Ankit, with his six-pack abs and muscular figure, packs a punch and much more in the clip, which depicts him as the saviour of his village. 

Ankit has been part of few action entertainers such as Farzand (2018) and Pawankhind (2021), but this is the first time he is playing a solo lead. And judging by this short clip, we can say that finally, Marathi cinema has got an action star. 

The actor perfectly exudes the confidence and swag required for this kind of larger-than-life role. His tall and muscular stature also comes in handy. The film also stars Neha Mahajan and Ruchira Jadhav but they don't feature in this teaser.

The thumping score which begins with guitar riff elevates the overall impact of the teaser. Babu has been written and directed by first-time filmmaker Mayur Madhukar Shinde and produced By Babu Bhoir.

The makers are yet to finalize the release date.
