After an almost-two-year delay, actor Anshuman Jha has finally started shooting Lord Curzon Ki Haveli in London.
The film, which marks the acclaimed actor's directorial debut and stars Rasika Dugal and Arjun Mathur, was supposed to go on the floors in March 2020 but its progress was hindered by the pandemic.
This is my tribute to Alfred Hitchcock: Anshuman Jha on his directorial debut, Lord Curzon Ki Haveli
Speaking about the endeavour, Jha said, “I work for fulfilment, not achievements; 2022 is the year of fulfilment with Lord Curzon Ki Haveli finally going on the floors. The whole world saw a major setback with almost everything coming to a standstill during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, with the entertainment industry being no exception.”
He added, “While the pandemic delayed us with the first wave in March 2020 and with the second wave in 2021, I am grateful that we are finally going on floors now. We are excited as a unit and hoping to finish filming soon.”
Jha, who has starred in films such as Yeh Hai Bakrapur (2014), Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain (2018) and Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele (2021), will also be seen in Victor Mukherjee's Lakadbaggha (2022).
