Marathi film actor Addinath Kothare made his Hindi debut recently in Kabir Khan’s acclaimed cricket drama 83 (2021) where he played the iconic Indian batsman Dilip Vengsarkar. He will continue his journey into the Hindi sphere in filmmaker Rohan Sippy’s next project.
Speaking about his association with Sippy, Kothare said in a statement, “Yes, I am starring in the latest project by Rohan Sippy. He is one of my favourite directors from Hindi cinema. Hence, I am happy to be a part of his next project. We have recently started shooting. The project will be released later this year.”
While the makers haven’t divulged much about the project, a picture of Kothare and Sippy on the sets has been doing the rounds. Going by the actor’s look, it seems that he is playing a tough guy.
Last year, Kothare made his debut in the Hindi web space in the second season of the Disney+ Hotstar drama City Of Dreams.
The artiste is also set to present his first film as a director, Paani. The Marathi movie won the National Film Award for the Best Feature Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation in 2019.
