The poster confirmed that the film will also be released in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
Directed by H Vinoth, Valimai has been produced by Boney Kapoor, who has reunited with Ajith after Nerkonda Paarvai. The film also stars Kartikeya Gummakonda as the antagonist.
In February last year. Ajith suffered an injury while shooting a bike sequence for the movie. Several international stunt choreographers were roped in to supervise certain action sequences in the movie, which has been made on a lavish budget.

Valimai was to hit the screens during Diwali 2020. However, its release was postponed to Sankranti 2022; it was pushed once again due to the sudden spike in COVID-19 related cases.
The visuals of the trailer, which was released recently, promises a high-octane action thriller in which a no-nonsense cop will lock horns with a gang of thieves.
