Tamannaah Bhatia to play titular role in Madhur Bhandarkar's Babli Bouncer

Tamannaah Bhatia is set to play the titular role in Madhur Bhandarkar's Babli Bouncer.

The coming-of-age drama, which has been penned by Amit Joshi, Aradhana Debnath and Bhandarkar, went on the floors today in Mohali, Punjab.

Bhatia announced the commencement of the shoot on Instagram along with a picture in which she is holding the film's clapperboard with Bhandarkar. 

The makers haven't revealed anything about the film's plot but from the title and Bhatia's costume, it looks like she plays a female bouncer who hails from Rajasthan. The film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj and Sahil Vaid. 

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures, Babli Bouncer will be released at the end of the year in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Bhatia will also be seen in Bole Chudiyan, Plan A Plan B, Gurthunda Seethakalam and F3: Fun and Frustration. 

Meanwhile, Bhandarkar is awaiting the release of another feature India Lockdown (2022).
