Meiyang Chang, Nandish Singh Sandhu join cast of SonyLIV’s Undekhi (Season 2)

The second season of the crime thriller Undekhi will see actors Nandish Singh Sandhu and Meiyang Chang join returning artistes Surya Sharma, Harsh Chhaya, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Ankur Rathee and Anchal Singh.

The first season of Undekhi (2020) was premiered two years ago on SonyLIV to critical acclaim. The series, created by Sidharth Sengupta and directed by Ashish R Shukla, had a suspenseful, taut narrative and the ending left a few questions unanswered.

The upcoming season's release date and other details should be out shortly. The cast and crew have been working on the show for the most part of last year.

Meiyang Chang, who plays a new character named Abhaya, said in a statement, “I love playing characters of differing shades. It’s a need and greed for the actor in me. Abhaya is someone who was once on the side of darkness but must put the past behind and atone for his sins. I had a lot of fun working with the entire cast of Undekhi; a good mix of seasoned and fresh performers, and an all-around fun-loving gang.”

Sandhu, meanwhile, plays a character called Samarth. Undekhi (Season 2) is being produced by Applause Entertainment and will likely premiere soon on SonyLIV.
