The teaser for Mammootty's much awaited gangster drama Bheeshma Parvam, directed by Amal Neerad, captures the viewer's attention with its stylistic visuals even before the entry of the veteran star Mammookka.

The sharply edited teaser indicates that Mammootty plays Michael, who was once a feared gangster. Another character says, "I have seen the Michael you guys have never seen or known of. You wouldn't have opened your mouth if you had seen that version of him", suggesting that Michael may be forced to revisit his past and bring his violent avatar back.

Just then, the debonair Mammootty makes a stylish entry and sends a goon somersaulting with one punch. The teaser ends with a wolf-whistle-worthy dialogue where Michael tells an unseen aide, "They are from Bombay. You need to tell them in Hindi" before asking some other unseen character(s) to get lost.

The teaser makes it obvious that Bheeshma Parvam is going to be a stylistic gangster action thriller. Along with the stylized visuals and Mammootty's mass-market avatar, another thing that stands out is the scintillating background score. But anyone who likes to listen to a lot of original motion picture sound tracks will discern the unmistakable influence of the OSTs for Drive (2011) and Tenet (2020).

Helmed by director Amal Neerad, the gangster drama also stars Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothan and Shine Tom Chacko. Bheeshma Parvam is Amal Neerad's second movie with Mammootty after their collaboration gave us the mega hit Big B (2007).

The film, produced by Amal Neerad himself under his banner Amal Neerad Productions, is scheduled to be released on 24 February. The film is being distributed in the northern territories by UFO Moviez. Watch the teaser below and let us know if you are keen to watch this film.
