Mansi Bagla, Deepak Mukut to produce anthology on Ruskin Bond’s Falling In Love Again


The project was born during the shoot of Bagla’s upcoming film Forensic starring Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte.

Producers Mansi Bagla and Deepak Mukut have announced an anthology film based on stories from legendary author Ruskin Bond’s book Falling In Love Again. The project was born during the shoot of Bagla’s upcoming film Forensic, starring Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte. 

The project is currently in the pre-production stage. The cast and the director will be announced later. Bond’s grandson Sidharth Bond is a part of the team in Bagla’s production house Mini Films.

Sharing her excitement about the upcoming romantic anthology, Bagla said in an Instagram post, “I promise to create something magical with this and recreate the era of a sweet simple pure love again which is missing in our cinema at the moment. Speaking about his friendship with Bagla, Bond said in a statement, “When I first met Mansi, I was charmed by her grace and sense of storytelling. Her intelligence and passion for her craft are so visible and I admire her. More than delighted to associate with her and Mini Films. We cannot wait for you all to see how my stories will be transpired on screen.” 

Apart from this film and Forensic, Bagla is also producing the upcoming movie Sirf Ek Friday, which will see the acing debut of the late composer Adesh Shrivastava's son Avitesh Shrivastava. “I’ve been around incredibly talented directors and writers and we’re developing a bunch of stories. We are predominantly telling entertaining and relevant stories. I’m all about creating content that is powerful and engaging for my audiences,” added Bagla.
