Prathamesh Parab first arrived on the scene in Ravi Jadhav's Balak Palak (2013), a coming-of-age film about adolescents, and struck gold. He then starred in the hit comedy Timepass (2014).
But somewhere down the line, over the past few years, he got typecast as a spoilt and mischievous brat. This can be seen in his recent films Takatak (2019), Doctor Doctor (2020) and Darling (2021). He has also been showing this side in risque songs such as the recent ‘Majha Baburao Jhala Tight’ from Ek Number Super.
The makers of Ek Number Super have come up with another naughty number featuring Parab titled ‘Tukade Tukade’. Hence, we see the actor doing the same old thing. Armenian dancer Elena Durgaryan accompanies him and her purpose here is to just perform steps that range from unimpressive to vulgar.
Jai Atre’s lyrics are passable and so is Varun Likhate’s music. The composer, Mugdha Karhade and Kavita Raam’s vocals provide some foot-tapping effect and turn out to be the saving grace.
Directed by Milind Zumber Kavde, Ek Number Super will be released in theatres on 11 March.
