Amit Sadh, Paresh Rawal to star in Hindi remake of Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy's Posto

Bengali director duo Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy are all set to remake their film Posto (2017) in Hindi.
Starring Jisshu Sengupta, Mimi Chakraborty, Soumitra Chatterjee and Paran Bandopadhyay, Posto dealt with the issue of custody of a child between the parents and grandparents.
According to a report in Anandabazar Patrika, a Bengali daily, Chakraborty will be reprising her role from the Bengali film while Amit Sadh, known for his work in the Amazon Prime Video web-series Breathe (2018) and Breathe: Into The Shadows (2020), will be enacting Sengupta’s character.
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal will be essaying the late Soumitra Chatterjee’s character. There is speculation that Naseeruddin Shah will also be playing a major role in the film. The child artiste for the central character will also be cast from Mumbai. The film will be produced by Mukherjee and Roy’s Windows Production House.
The Jisshu Sengupta- and Solanki Roy-starrer Baba Baby O (2022) was the first film from the production company to be released in theatres after the pandemic struck in 2020. Directed by Aritra Mukherjee, the film deals with the subject of surrogacy and single parenthood.
