Deepak Mukut, whose banner Soham Rockstar Entertainment has backed critically acclaimed films like Mulk (2018), has announced his next production, Palatwar.
Mukut announced the project by sharing a motion poster for the film with a haunting musical score by the duo Ajay-Atul.
Sharing the motion poster, Mukut wrote, "After the exhilarating experience of producing Mulk & Dhaakad I am thrilled to announce our next — Palatwar, a soul-stirring story of ego, vengeance and regret."
Touted as a high-octane action thriller, the film will be directed by Divyanshu Pandit, who is making his debut as director. The script, which is about ego, vengeance and regret, has been penned by Aamir Bengali, Amrita Mody and Pandit.
In his statement to the news agency Asian News International (ANI), Mukut said, "Palatwar is an amazing story that is close to my heart. Ever since I read the script, I couldn't wait to announce it. We are working hard to get everything right for this project and we already have one of the best creators and music composers on board."
Mukut said the process of casting for the film will begin soon. "Whether the film is going to feature newcomers or seasoned stars, we will resolve as we proceed," the producer said. "However, I guarantee viewers that this will be a story all of them will love."
