Jagdeep Sidhu’s upcoming film Moh (2022) is due to be released on 16 September.
Lead actress Sargun Mehta shared the news on Instagram, along with another poster of the film.
In her post, she explained that other than the words for love, ‘pyaar’ and ‘mohobbat’, there is another word that is similar in meaning, which is ‘moh’ or attachment. However, ‘moh’ is not considered at the same level as the former two words for love.
Instead it is counted amongst words like 'kaam krodh ahankar lobh te moh [lust, anger, ego, greed and attachment]'. They say that that the purpose of life is to rid oneself of these disorders, to do away with them. But what if one is unable to do so?
The posters shared so far of the film seem to be in dialogue with each other as the previous poster of Moh featured Mehta’s eyes open while lead actor Gitaz Bindrakhia had his eyes closed and in the latest poster, the opposite has been done.
It is clear that Sidhu is presenting another passionate love story in this forthcoming Punjabi feature, Moh.
