Delhi Crime (Season 2) trailer: A new wave of murders rocks the national capital 

The winner for the International Emmy for Best Drama Series in 2020 is back with a new season later this month. Shefali Shah returns as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi as she leads her team through another shocking crime in the award-winning Netflix series.

In the first season, Shah’s team investigated the brutal gang rape of a young woman in Delhi and nabbed the culprits. This time, the senior citizens of the capital are targets of a ruthless gang that uses all kinds of weapons to commit the brutal murders.

Rasika Dugal and Rajesh Tailang return as Chaturvedi’s understaffed and overworked subordinates, while Adil Hussain is also back as Vartika’s superior. As the team rushes to gather facts, the city reels by targeting the working class, who become the prime suspects in the class wars.

The gritty series, which looks to pick up right after its last season, seems like realistic, dire look at the crime in the nation’s capital and how its police force has to tackle it.

Inspired by true events, Delhi Crime (Season 2) is created by Richie Mehta and directed by Tanuj Chopra. The series has been written by Mayank Tewari, Shubhra Swarup, Vidit Tripathi and Enzia Mirza, with dialogues by Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh and Virat Basoya.
