Punjabi feature Criminal to be released in theatres on 23 September

The Punjabi-language film Criminal (2022) starring Dheeraj Kumar, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Neeru Bajwa and Raghveer Boli, is set to be released in theatres on 23 September.

Dheeraj Kumar shared the news on Instagram with his fans. In his post, he said that this film is very special to him for various reasons. It is the directorial debut of his best friend, Garinder Sidhu, and in the film, he gets to share screen space with his favourite and one of the best actresses, Neeru Bajwa.

Another reason is that he is acting with Prince Kanwaljit Singh after their last outing, Warning (2021). And lastly, because of Gippy Grewal, whose faith and belief in him, he always wishes to keep intact. He signed off by thanking the team of the upcoming film, his family and friends.

As the title suggests, Criminal is an action-thriller and the poster has serious images of Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Dheeraj Kumar and Raghveer Boli. Neeru Bajwa too, is seen in a deglamourised avatar with a mud-splattered, bloody face. In the background, we see Singh with a knife in his hand. It is safe to assume that the film will feature violence and bloodshed.
