Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga song ‘Iko Ik Dil’: Foot-tapping, well-choreographed bhangra number

Starring Gippy Grewal and Tanu Grewal in the lead, the film is due to be released on 2 September.

The song ‘Iko Ik Dil’ from Gippy Grewal’s upcoming Punjabi-language feature Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga (2022) is foot-tapping, well-choreographed bhangra number. The lively track is sung by Gippy Grewal and Sudesh Kumari, with music by Jay K, and lyrics and composition by Happy Raikoti.

Directed by Vikas Vashisht, with story by Naresh Kathooria, the film also stars Tanu Grewal, Karamjit Anmol, and Raj Dhaliwal.

A peppy number, ‘Iko Ik Dil’ features a bhangra dance troupe. The traditional dance steps are well-choreographed. Although both actors are seen in traditional clothes, Grewal changes into Western attire towards the middle of the song, while Tanu Grewal continues to be seen shaking a leg in traditional Punjabi clothes.

Both the lead actors are seen having fun and dancing to the beats of the song. The song is colourful, both in terms of the set design and the clothes that the dancers are wearing. Towards the end, the dholak (traditional drum) players also come in and join in the festivities. In the background, one sees a lit up hoarding with the hashtag YMTW, referring to the title of the film.

Gippy Grewal has a full slate of films lined up for release. His recent release was the Divya Dutta-starrer Maa (2022).

The Punjabi film was originally slated for release on 25 August 2022 and delayed by a week to 2 September. Check out the song below and let us know if you are keen to see the film.
