Jahaan Chaar Yaar to be released theatrically on 16 September; see poster

The girls trip comedy Jahaan Chaar Yaar (2022) is due to be released in theatres on 16 September. Written and directed by first-time filmmaker Kamal Pandey, the film stars Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra.

Bhasker shared the film’s poster with the caption, ‘Why should guys have all the fun?’ The poster shows the backdrop of a beach with the four female friends sitting and standing atop a popped champagne bottle.

The film, which began filming last year in Goa and Uttar Pradesh, will show the friends turning from demure housewives to daring dames.

Produced under the banner of Soundrya Productions, the film finds the women, with grown children and distant husbands, taking a spontaneous getaway to Goa that turns into a thrilling roller coaster they never bargained for.

Bhasker and Talsania previously collaborated on Veere Di Wedding (2018) which was about another group of friends reuniting at a crucial time in their lives.
