Sardar Udham (2021) and Shershaah led the 67th Wolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022 with nine and seven wins respectively. The Shoojit Sircar film, starring Vicky Kaushal, was named Best Film (Critics' Choice) and Best Actor (Critics' Choice). The biopic also picked up a slew of technical awards including Best Cinematography and Best Costume.
Shershaah, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, was named Best Film and Best Director for Vishnuvardhan. The war film based on the life of the Param Vir Chakra honoree Vikram Batra also dominated the music honours.

Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon won the top acting awards. Singh, who won for his role as Indian team captain Kapil Dev in 83 (2021), shared the stage with wife Deepika Padukone as he received the award. He was co-hosting the event with his Gunday (2014) co-star Arjun Kapoor.

Sanon won the Best Actress award for her role in Mimi (2021). Her co-stars Pankaj Tripathi won Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male), while Sai Tamhankar won Best Actor in Supporting Role (Female).
Vidya Balan won Best Actress (Critics' Choice) for Sherni (2021). This is her seventh win at the awards, and her second critics' win after Ishqiya (2010).
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021) won awards for Best Story, while Sardar Udham was awarded for Best Screenplay. Actor Ehan Bhat who starred the AR Rahman musical 99 Songs (2021) was named Best Debut Male, while Sharvari Wagh took home the Best Debut Female. Actress Seema Pahwa took the honours for Best Debut Director for her film Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi (2021).

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.
